Why don't we stay in touch?
It’s true that – as Marina Abramović says – the more the artist gets inside himself, the more universal he becomes. I like to scan myself internally, and the deeper I go and surrender to what I feel, the more I can access some form of truth.
But there is one thing I have realized in recent times: without exchange, I can’t survive. Think about it: what makes us unique is the range of our influences, and also how we combine them. It’s a constant dialogue, and it’s essential.
